Topical Fluoride Application
Topical
Procedure: This procedure is fast and painless. The teeth are dried, and the surfaces are brushed with a highly concentrated fluoride material. It has a short waiting period (30 minutes to a few hours) preceding the brushing or consumption of sticky/hard foods so as to maximise their absorption.

Reasons to Select All Smiles for Fluoride Care

  • Individualised Treatment: The doctors evaluate your specific level of risk factors, i.e. diet, history of decay and current sensitivity, to help decide what and how much fluoride to apply, so that you can maximise your success.
  • ChildCentric Prevention: Children with newly erupted permanent teeth that are still developing have a high need of fluoride. This is because we make the process fast and painless so that we can inculcate a good practice in relation to dentistry at this early stage.
  • Sensitivity Relief: Adults Tooth sensitivity induced by an exposed root surface or erosion of the enamel can be rapidly eliminated through professional fluoride therapy.
  • Non-Invasive Cavity Management: In patients with very mild, incipient decay, fluoride treatment can frequently reverse the lesions without a drill or filling and this is in support of our philosophy of minimally invasive dentistry.
